Technology and Geology Update - 1.11.x

Finally! The first huge update since the first milestone. I will list the changes since the last update 1.10 "Buildings and Machines" in the following sections.

New in this version




No Rock Limit

You can go over zettaton with 21 zeros.


New Machine

The machine type “Grinder” is added.


New Collectables

Loot types Ores and Gems are added.


More Facility Feature

Each facility has 3-5 Features. Some have similar patterns, except Warehouse and Workshop.


Zone Bonus

You can position your active and passive mining individually to a certain depth. The depth is divided by Zones and each gives a better loot drop for particular metals or ores.


Trading System

In the Warehouse you can trade Basalt for metals of your choice, Kimberlite for ores and ores for the corresponding gems.

Facility feature

Mine

This facility increases the rock income per click. Maximum level is 100.

Feature Description
Explore
  • Expand the depth (+m)
  • Waiting time increases after every exploration.
  • Start cost: 5 kg
  • Cost increases after every exploration.
Pickaxe
  • Multiply rock income per click (%)
  • Increases chance for metal drop
  • Start cost: 1,000 kg
  • Cost increases after every upgrade.
Jackhammer
  • Multiply rock income per click (%)
  • Increases chance for ore drop
  • Start cost: 10,000 kg
  • Cost increases after every upgrade.


Drill

This machine increases the rock income per second. The Drill has a higher rock income compared to other machine types and has a fewer chance to gather metals and ores. They will appear one after another with different time intervals. Maximum level is 100.

Build Drill
  • Add the machine “Drill” to the machine zone
  • Requirement: Workshop level 1 + need a free Space
  • Start cost: 2,400 kg + 10x Metal + 5x Copper + 2x Aluminium
  • Waiting time: 30 minutes
  • Cost increases for every new “Drill”.

  • Start cost: 1,200 kg + 40x Metal + 10x Copper + 5x Aluminium
  • Cost increases after every upgrade.
Drill's Engine
  • Increases the stack size in each slot for “Drill” by one. Each slot contains 1x loot at the beginning.
  • Requirement: Workshop level 10 + Feature level cannot exceed its facility level.
  • Start cost: 1,200 kg + 75x Metal + 100x Copper + 50x Aluminium + 15x Silver + 5x Gold
  • Cost increases after every upgrade.
Drill's Storage
  • Increases the slot size for “Drill” by one. Starting size is 5.
  • Requirement: Workshop level 1
  • Start cost: 5x Metal
  • Cost increases for every upgrade by 5.


Warehouse

This facility increases the maximal store size for each loot type. Maximum level is 100.

Conveyer
  • Increases the slot size for each machine by one. Starting size is 3.
  • Not available since 1.11
Random Loots
  • Buy random loots (metals & ores) for rocks. Options:
  • 1,000,000 kg for 10 loots - Waiting time: 10 minutes
  • 3,000,000 kg for 25 loots - Waiting time: 20 minutes
  • 6,000,000 kg for 50 loots - Waiting time: 30 minutes
  • 15,000,000 kg for 100 loots - Waiting time: 60 minutes
  • 30,000,000 kg for 200 loots - Waiting time: 120 minutes
Buy Metals
  • Buy metal type loot for Basalt. Options:
  • For 1x Basalt you get 4x Metal
  • For 1x Basalt you get 3x Copper
  • For 1x Basalt you get 2x Aluminium

  • Requirement: Workshop level 30 + Feature level cannot exceed its facility level.

Hydraulic
  • Increases the chance of gathering metals
  • Requirement: Workshop level 30 + Feature level cannot exceed its facility level.

Claw’s Engine
  • Increases the stack size in each slot for “Claw” by one. Each slot contains 1x loot at the beginning.

This facility decreases all rock costs. Maximum level is 100.

Technology
  • Multiply the rock income of all machines (%)
  • Not available since 1.11
Tools
  • Multiply the loot drop amount for active mining. Each drop counts as 1+Tools LVL
  • Requirement: Feature level cannot exceed its facility level.
  • Cost: 1x Diamond Shards
Worker
  • Each hired Worker reduces all waiting times by 3 minutes.
  • Requirement: Feature level cannot exceed its facility level.
  • Cost: 100x Gold
Space
  • Increases the maximum number of machines you can have.
  • Requirement: Feature level cannot exceed its facility level.
  • Sart cost: 50x Basalt
  • Cost increases for every upgrade by 50.
Dismantle
  • Destroy a machine of your choice and get ⅓ rounded down of its material cost.
  • You cannot destroy the last machine of its type.


Grinder

Grinder is a new machine type introduced in Version 1.11. This machine increases the rock income per second. The Grinder can only gather rocks and ores. They will appear one after another with different time intervals. Maximum level is 100.

  • Add the machine “Grinder” to the machine zone
  • Requirement: Workshop level 40 + need a free Space
  • Start cost: 1,280,000 kg + 60x Metal + 40x Copper + 30x Aluminium
  • Waiting time: 90 minutes
  • Cost increases for every new “Grinder”.
Wheel
  • Multiply the rock income of this machine (%)
  • Requirement: Workshop level 50 + Feature level cannot exceed its facility level.
  • Start cost: 640,000 kg + 50x Metal + 50x Copper + 100x Aluminium
  • Cost increases after every upgrade.
Cog
  • Increases the chance of gathering ores
  • Requirement: Workshop level 50 + Feature level cannot exceed its facility level.
  • Start cost: 640,000 kg + 60x Metal + 200x Aluminium
  • Cost increases after every upgrade.
Grinder’s Engine
  • Increases the stack size in each slot for “Grinder” by one. Each slot contains 1x loot at the beginning.
  • Requirement: Workshop level 50 + Feature level cannot exceed its facility level.
  • Start cost: 640,000 kg + 350x Metal + 500x Copper + 270x Aluminium + 70x Silver + 30x Gold
  • Cost increases after every upgrade.
Grinder’s Storage
  • Increases the slot size for “Grinder” by one. Starting size is 5.
  • Requirement: Workshop level 40
  • Start cost: 30x Metal
  • Cost increases for every upgrade by 30.


Zones

Each zone has a Zone Bonus. It increases the chances of gathering certain loots. Navigate yourself on the map with Arrow Up/Down or W/S buttons to get the bonus of your current position. You can also move your machines to a position of your choice to get the bonus for passive looting. Active bonuses for active and passive mining are displayed on the Boulder Screen.
